Day 13

I slept late and woke up late. Instead of heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth, I switched on the television to watch Ghost Rider. I was joined in together with Wilfred. We then watched and munched on some biscuits and crackers until 1pm. The whole group then set out to meet at the city at 2.30pm. We then had our lunch at Ajisen Ramen. Well, it was much cheaper than in Singapore. However, while the rest succumbed to temptation of its inexpensive dishes, I on the other hand chose not to eat as I wanted to save up to buy a pair of shoes and a jacket. Almost everyone ordered the fried rice and unknowingly to them, it was very spicy. Some could not take it and did not finish their food. Ram was our saviour as he helped to finish up the fried rice. After that, we walked aimlessly along the city. It was quite interesting and fun even though we walked for quite a distance. It also seemed that our group of classmates were all Adidas fans. It was dark already when we walked back to another gate of the campus. From there, we visited a small shopping place near the girl’s hostel. It was very teenage-oriented shopping place which is exactly what our taste is. A few people made purchases over there and with Ram being the biggest spender as he bought a badminton racket. Shakir on the other hand was trying his hands out on an electric guitar, he planned to buy it in the last two weeks of the trip. Everyone then headed to the Halal-restaurant to have a cheap and simple meal after having spend quite a lot on that afternoon. It was bedtime as soon as we reached the hostel.
