Day 19

We were waken up by the tour guide early in the morning as they knocked on our doors asking us to get up and be ready for breakfast. Well, breakfast is just as what we expected. The food did not taste as good and most were limited and bland. Without a choice, I ate the food to fill my stomach. Then we had news that the cruise cannot move for the whole day as there is heavy fog. With nothing to do for the whole day, we played card games. When it was finally ready for the ship to move, everyone gathered at the cruise’s deck to take pictures and the procedure of the dam being filled with water. The cruise sailed downstream for the next few hours. At 12pm sharp, it was announced over the speakers that lunch was ready and that guests should proceed to the dining area at level 2 now. The lunch was not quite appetizing at all. The worse was the steamed bun served with pork meat which looked like it was raw. However, no matter how bad the food was, I just ate as per normal. After lunch, I went to my cabin and soon fell asleep as I lay on my bed. When I woke up, I realised it was going to evening. I went up to the upper deck to see if there was any nice scenery which I could take picture of but there was not any. So I waited for dinner. After dinner, we all felt so bored so we went to the upper deck to take pictures. The ship stopped over and there was a beautiful suspension bridge with lights in the background. So it was really a great time to take pictures. In the midst of taking pictures, we were joined in by the tour guide who taught us some folk songs and some hand language that people in China used. We all had a great time. Time flies when one is having fun. It was late, some went to bed while some played card games. For me, I chose to sleep as I was feeling very tired having cooped up in my cabin most of the time.
