Day 25

I had difficulty waking up today as I slept late last night. I set my alarm at 7am and woke up abruptly. I did things very slowly and by the time we started having breakfast, it was already 7.50am and the class commences at 8.15am. The others were outside of my room hurrying us to quicken up our pace. However, I told them to go ahead first as I felt that I would be delaying everyone if I were to make them wait for me. So off they went and I continued taking my breakfast. By the time I set off, I was going to be late. It was 8.10am already. I brisk walked all the way to the classroom but I was still late by ten minutes. Luckily for me, I was not the latest. Some others have not arrived yet. The class that we were having is Calligraphy. Firstly, the university lecturer explained to us about the history of Calligraphy and showed us some traditional Chinese writing that were mostly unusual and unfamiliar to us. The entire lesson was quite fun as everybody get to try out the painting. For me, I wrote my name in Chinese on the blank piece of paper. After the lesson, we had nothing else until 12pm which is our quiz. So I and a few others went to the street hawker to have our lunch. I had fried egg noodles. It did not taste as good compared to Singapore. I still gobbled up the food anyway. We made our way back to the classroom after eating. It was time for the quiz. It was very mind-boggling as I did not know how to solve the last question. Well, I did think much of it after the quiz as I was seriously mentally-drained. I went back to the hostel and played my PSP to distress. I am so thankful to my PSP for being my relaxation. Soon, it was dinner time. We gathered eleven people this time, so obviously we went to the Si-chuan restaurant again. Before leaving, I looked out of my window and noticed that it was pouring quite heavily. The temperature also dipped a lot and there was a gust of wind which blew against my face and made my face froze. I did not feel like going out to eat but I relented as almost everyone was confirmed going. Together as a group, we walked out to the restaurant. We found it too cold and wet to get there so we boarded the campus bus. It took us there in a mere few minutes. As everyone was feeling very hungry because of the early lunch that we took, we ordered a spread. We managed to finish everything up. After that, we came back to our hostel with Agnes. She played a few rounds of card games with us before leaving for her dorm. It was almost midnight by that time and I had a long shower. I watched television and played PSP before retiring for the night.
