Day 6

Today, there is not much programme and activities as it is a Sunday! We slept late last night and woke up late this morning. I was idling around when I woke up. So by the time we left the hostel for the city, it was already 3pm. We met up with the girls excluding Agnes and her roommates. Together as a group, we ventured out into the bustling city. All we had in mind is shop, shop and shop. The guys and girls split up into two groups. We walked many rounds in the shopping centre which sells things just like Bugis. When we left the shopping centre, almost all had bags in their hands. I think that the funniest part of the trip was when we entered a clothes shop. There was this attractive sales girl who was attending to us. First, she attended to Ram and I noticed that Ram was suddenly fidgeting and smiling to himself. So I asked Ram if he was really intending to buy or is he just mesmerised by beauty. In the end, no one bought anything. Ram, Shakir and Jonathan requested to take a picture with the sales girl and she relented. It was very funny as the three guys kept saying that the moment was the best part of their lives. Getting late, so we walked back to the main gate of the university. Midway, we saw a shop selling imitation shoes and windbreaker. Well, the quality was pretty good for an imitation so almost everyone bought something. I would conclude this trip as a shopping spree for everyone and only two people survived this shopping spree, which is I and Chau Liang. Well, I am not miser. It is just that I could not find any sport shoes to my liking so far. That is the only thing that I am intending to look for as I need a pair back in Singapore for playing sports. After that, all went to the Muslim restaurant to have our dinner. I order Fried Noodles with Egg. It taste good and cost me 6RMB. Anyway, in this cold weather, I am always feeling hungrier than ever. This is worrying for me as I do not want to put on weight.
